@misc { , title = {Dirty hands, fine work. [Exhibition]}, abstract = {This exhibition featured works by support staff at Gray's School of Art, Robert Gordon University. The works represent a wide variety of artforms: painting, photography, illustration, cartooning, ceramics, jewellery, costume, textiles, film and sound installation. The exhibition was also accompanied by the sale of a zine. The event was a group production. The title, "Dirty Hands, Fine Work", came in the light of recent pay strikes, in which half of us were striking - including five on the picket line. Unison's slogan is "We're Worth More". We wanted to draw attention to the value of what we do as technicians and shop staff. Students are supported, taught and advised by us as part of their learning, and we are all experts in our respective fields as well as ourselves being practicing artists. Collectively, we technicians and shop staff bring to the students many years of experience out in the art world.}, note = {INFO COMPLETE (added after conversation with contact in November 2022 ; 16.01.2023 GB) PERMISSION GRANTED (contact confirmed CC BY for most materials, but depictions of Anne Campbell's work and Helen Partridge Love's videos to be clearly marked as "© The Artist.
