@article { , title = {Distribution power loss minimization via distributed generation, capacitor and network reconfiguration.}, abstract = {This paper presents a solution to solve the network reconfiguration, DG coordination (location and size) and capacitor coordination (location and size), simultaneously. The proposed solution will be determined by using Artificial Bee Colony (ABC). Various case studies are presented to see the impact on the test system, in term of power loss reduction and also voltage profiles. The proposed approach is applied to a 33-bus test system and simulate by using MATLAB programming. The simulation results show that combination of DG, capacitor and network reconfiguration gives a positive impact on total power losses minimization as well as voltage profile improvement compared to other case studies.}, doi = {10.11591/ijeecs.v5.i3.pp488-495}, eissn = {2502-4760}, issn = {2502-4752}, issue = {3}, journal = {Indonesian journal of electrical engineering and computer science}, note = {COMPLETED -- Rec'd permission from pub 13/11/2017 LM -- Journal article of a conference paper already on OpenAIR add link when uploading this to OA http://hdl.handle.net/10059/2243 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Muhammad-Sukki, Firdaus -- Panel B}, pages = {488-495}, publicationstatus = {Published}, publisher = {Institute of Advanced Engineering and Science}, url = {http://hdl.handle.net/10059/2587}, volume = {5}, keyword = {Power loss minimisation, Distributed generation capacitor, Network reconfiguration, Artificial bee colony}, year = {2017}, author = {Jalil, Siti Zura A. and Muhtazaruddin, Mohd Nabil Bin and Bani, Nurul Aini and Aris, Siti Armiza Mohd and Kaidi, Hazilah Mad and Fatah, Abdul Yasser Abd and Jamian, Jasrul Jamani and Muhammad-Sukki, Firdaus and Abu-Bakar, Siti Hawa} }
