Abstract

This installation is pigment on unfired clay with string, screws and wood. It was exhibited at Inside the Shadow, 7-29 April 2017, ARTHOUSE1, London. The work was made in response to one of the architectural fixings, and shadows that it cast, in the gallery space. The work was an attempt to make tangible shadows that were fixed in their form but had changeable qualities due to the light-sensitive pigment on the surface.
