Dr Mostafa Sarker

Biography Dr. Sarker is a Research Fellow, National Subsea Centre at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, UK, and has several years of experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Vision (CV), Machine Learning(ML), and Deep Learning (DL). Since the era is driving in the field of deep learning, Dr. Sarker has about five years of experience in deep learning for image classification, object detection, scene classification, and semantic segmentation in computer vision, medical image analysis, and subsea imaging domain. Dr. Sarker has successfully completed 12 projects with the collaboration of 7 different institutes in 5 countries, Australia Bangladesh, France, Spain, and the UK, respectively. Dr. Sarker has published 13 Peer-reviewed journal articles and 16 national/international conference proceedings during the 10 years of his research career. He has successfully solved several challenging tasks in the field of Egocentric Vision and Visual Lifelogging, Health Informatics, Medical Image Analysis, Cancer Image Analysis, and Digital Pathology, and Subsea Imaging.
