Dr Mostafa Sarker

Biography Dr. Mostafa is a Research Fellow, National Subsea Centre at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, UK, and has several years of research experience in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), computer vision (CV), machine learning(ML), and deep learning (DL). Since the era is driving in the field of deep learning, Dr. Mostafa has about five years of experience in deep learning for image classification, object detection, scene classification, and semantic segmentation in computer vision, medical image analysis, and subsea imaging domain. Dr. Mostafa has successfully completed 12 projects with the collaboration of 7 different institutes in 5 countries, Australia, Bangladesh, France, Spain, and the UK, respectively. Dr. Mostafa has published 40 peer-reviewed articles in high impact journals and national/international conference proceedings during the 10 years of his research career. He has successfully solved several challenging tasks in the field of egocentric vision and visual lifelogging, health informatics, medical image analysis, ocean/subsea image analysis and remote sensing.
