| Biography | Val is a lecturer and tutor on the BAAF programme with extensive previous experience working in a professional capacity. Val began her career with PWC in Aberdeen, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant before transferring to the Brussels office. During her PWC career, she mainly worked in audit and business advisory services but also had significant involvement with client and staff training departments. She then lived in various countries for a number of years, returning to the workforce in Houston USA in a teaching role. Upon returning to the UK, Val worked for a short time in the FE sector before joining RGU. |
| Teaching and Learning | Val is the module co-ordinator for BS1270, Management Accounting and also BS3039 Financial Reporting and Forecasting. She has extensive work experience gained at PwC in the UK and Belgium and has also taught at the British School of Houston and North East Scotland College. |
