Biography Louise is a Visiting Research Fellow with the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedic Practice at Robert Gordon University. Her substantive post, as Head of Delivery and Development with Bon Accord Care, is in the social care sector of Aberdeen. She is passionate about involving people and communities in co-produced Health and Social Care and impactful applied research. Her PhD study explored relationships, needs and experiences of people who accessed and provided Health and Social Care in the community, within a regional area of Scotland.

Louise has been a registered nurse since 2002. Her background includes Nurse Lecturer; District Nursing; specialist Parkinson's nursing; acute medicine; stroke; care for older adults; rehabilitation; out-of-hours nursing; unplanned care; long-term conditions management; clinical research & auditing; clinical leadership; project planning; education; training and anticipatory care planning.
Research Interests Particular fields of research interest include: qualitative research; Health and Social Care; integration; social care research; involving people and communities in research; co-produced collaborative Health and Social Care and research; voluntary sector health and wellbeing support; multi-disciplinary working.
Teaching and Learning Lecturer at the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedic Practice at Robert Gordon University, teaching on pre and post-registration programmes (2014-2022).
