Post Nominals Ph.D.
Biography I am a PhD graduate from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. My research is based on fluid flow and proppant transport in hydraulic fractures in shale gas reservoirs. I am currently working as a Petroleum Reservoir Engineer with an oil and gas company based in Aberdeen. Prior to joining PhD, I have an industrial work experience of over six years as a petroleum reservoir engineer. I have specialised in the well test interpretation/pressure transient analysis of oil and gas production and water injection wells. I have experience of working in various projects in the oil and gas industry from pressure transient analysis, distributed temperature analysis, log interpretation, petrophysics, to dynamic reservoir simulation, PVT modelling, production optimisation and field development reservoir study.
I am an Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) in the UK and have experience of teaching, lecturing and demonstration to the undergrad engineering students in the UK. I completed my M.Sc. in Reservoir Geoscience and Engineering with distinction from the IFP School, Paris, France and my undergrad degree in Petroleum Engineering with distinction from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), India. I was awarded gold medal for my outstanding academic performance. I have authored eight technical papers published in the international journals and received several awards from the SPE and other institutions.
