Investigating adrenoceptor subtypes as therapeutic targets in anthracycline induced cardiotoxicity

Project Description
The proposed study will therefore involve parallel studies in both rat H9c2 myoblast cells (cardiomyocyte model) and MB-MDA-231 cells (human triple negative breast cancer cell model) to determine the effects of both activation and antagonism of adrenoceptor subtypes on anthracycline mediated effects.
