Internal Wall Insulation
People Involved
Project Description
A technical evaluation of the internal wall insulation methodology for “hard to treat” masonry buildings with lath and plaster inner walls (known as pre-1919 traditional construction buildings). We will examine existing drawings, specifications and calculations for the purpose of refining auto-cad drawings, finalising product specifications, validating the U value and heat transfer characteristics and developing 3D modelling and animation of the installation process.
An Energy Technology Partnership project with Novus Elements Ltd
The principal investigator will supervise the validation of the calculations and refinement of the prototype.
