Abstract

As a university we are committed to ensuring that the digital content we produce is accessible, so that all students have an equitable experience and can fully participate in their studies. Within this, key aspects include the adoption of accessible digital learning standards, and the creation of accessible resources and experiences. The Accessiblity for Online Learning Project has undertaken cross-institutional collaboration to provide colleagues with a comprehensive set of guidance and resources, which aim to support an engaging and dynamic digital learning experience that is accessible for all. CampusMoodle continues to be RGU's core delivery platform and, as such, the university invested in Blackboard Ally. Ally provides guidance and tips to improve the accessibility of the content and offers step-by-step instructions to assist in improving the content's accessibility. This enables staff to quickly and effectively create and modify content to enhance the digital learning experience of their learners.
