Abstract
This is a review of "Sovereign Debt Sustainability: Multilateral Debt Treatment and the Credit Rating Impasse" by Daniel Cash (Routledge, 2022). The 2007-09 global economic crisis resulted in pressing issues for many countries, especially those with lower-income levels, which saw their sovereign debt increase exponentially. The COVID-19 pandemic has only worsened matters. As a result, there is an urgent need for innovative solutions to address the problem and ensure the sustainability of sovereign debt. In this regard, the reviewed book provides valuable insights into this field.
