The Scottish campus officer: past present and future.
Frondigoun, Liz; Smith, Robert; MacLeod, Iain
Abstract
Campus Officers were first deployed in Scottish Schools in 2002. The Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) provides a hub for information sharing and training of Campus Officers. However, the appointment and deployment of Campus Officers currently lies with the individual Police Force in which the officers serve (Frondigoun, Smith & MacLeod, 2013).
