Abstract
In this webinar Uche Iloka and Paul Arnell (both affiliated with the Robert Gordon University) consider the intricacies of charity law, its evolution in Scotland and the practical implications of these developments for professionals working in the sector. In August 2023, the Scottish Parliament’s Charities (Regulation and Administration Scotland) Act became law. It was enacted to enhance and modernize the existing charity law framework by promoting transparency and accountability. The change has been highly anticipated. Notably, it marks a change in current trajectory between Scots law and the position South of the border.
