Abstract

This is a special issue of "Energies" (ISSN 1996-1073), including five articles published in 2020. This special issue was created in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, and aimed to examine how to build back better and to accelerate renewable energy transition in order to withstand the next big shocks coming our way: climate and ecological breakdown.
