Biography Dr. Mohd Shahneel Saharudin is a lecturer at the School of Engineering in Robert Gordon University, UK. He holds a PhD and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Northumbria University, and a BEng from Newcastle University. With a broad range of credentials, including being a European Engineer (EUR ING), a Chartered Engineer (IMechE), a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), and a Certified Solidworks Professional (CSWP Mechanical Design), his expertise encompasses various fields within mechanical engineering.

Dr. Mohd’s most recent research focuses on MXene nanomaterials, a pioneering area with tremendous potential for scientific and commercial advancements in energy storage. He has also made substantial contributions to the fields of additive manufacturing and design.

His extensive research in these domains has been published in top-tier peer-reviewed journals, demonstrating significant commercial and scientific impact. Additionally, his background in the energy industry, where he served as a project engineer, brings a practical perspective that enriches his academic research and pedagogical approach.
