Mr Craig Ellis

Biography After graduating from Grays' School of Art (RGU) Sculpture Dept in 1991 Craig Ellis' creative practice has evolved from object based sculptural work to a broader multi-disc practice that places itself within the broad spectrum of Fine Art.

After graduating he worked in Glasgow as a practicing artist until 1997. During this period, as well as exhibiting Sculpture, he worked in a number of community and educational projects. These projects engaged in areas of deprivation within the city but also expanded to international partners in Washington DC as artist in residence. Further residencies within Secondary schools identified Arts education as anarea of passion and lead to a returned to Aberdeen where reconnecting with Gray's lead to lecturing duties with Sculpture.

The majority of his subsequent time at Gray's has been within the 1st yr foundation delivery where he has lead that delivery since 2009. However, he also lead the Fine Art programme for a period and coordinated the Socrates/Erasmus international exchange program.
