Mr Joan Alza Santos
Biography | Joan's research interest lies primarily in evolutionary computing. His research is mainly based on the study of dynamic optimisation problems, with special interest in permutation problems and online evolutionary algorithms. Joan joined Robert Gordon University in 2018 from the University of the Basque Country and has been involved in his doctoral research ever since. He has several publications in high-quality conferences, including ‘IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation (CEC)’ and ‘Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference (GECCO)’. In his free time, Joan enjoys cooking, music and sports. |
