| Biography | Dr Nathaniel is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) with specialisation in Energy Economics, finance and business management and is currently the Course Leader for MSc Energy Management and MSc Energy Transition and Sustainability programmes at RGU Aberdeen Business School. He bagged his MSc. (Oil and Gas Economics) and PhD (Energy Economics and Finance) degrees from University of Dundee, UK in 2013 and 2017 respectively. In addition to holding an MBA in Oil, Gas & Energy Management and Galileo Masters in Renewable Energy Management, Dr Nathaniel has taken part in French Institute of Petroleum (IFP), France and Harvard University Extension School, USA professional training courses in Energy Transition and Strategic Business Management. Prior to joining RGU, Nathaniel was a Senior Teaching Fellow in Renewable Energy Management and Course Director for BSc Renewable Energy (Hons) at Coventry University, UK. He has also taught applied energy economics, finance, management and business related courses in various capacities at higher institutions in the UK, including University of Dundee, University of Bolton, Glasgow University GIC, Sheffield University International College, Regent College London as well as overseas. Nathaniel has written numerous papers/articles/chapters as well as spoken at international conferences on the economics and environmental issues of hydrocarbon development, and renewable integration and energy policy issues in developing countries. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and reviewer for reputable academic journals globally. Nathaniel supervises MSc and PhD students, and serves as internal and external PhD examiner for various Universities in the UK and overseas, including Coventry University and Nobel International Business School, Africa’s Premier Doctoral School, Ghana. |

| Teaching and Learning | Nathaniel is currently course leader for MSc Energy Management and the Module Coordinator for BSM179 MSc and MBA Oil and Gas Economics at RGU Aberdeen Business School. Nathaniel also teaches the following module: BSM217 Energy Policy, Sustainability and Transitions. Nathaniel supervises PhD students as well as undergraduate and postgraduate student thesis projects. |
