Biography | Will is a social epidemiologist based in the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedic Practice at RGU and he is currently a Chancellor's Fellow. He is a Registered Nurse by background, with clinical experience working in the cardiac catheterisation laboratory. Will is a quantitative researcher with an interest in counterfactual causal inference methods applied to observational health and social data sources. He is interested in child and family health (particularly mental health) as socio-economic exposures during this time can have a large impact on later life outcomes. His current research focuses on better understanding how health inequalities are constructed and perpetuated, as a way to develop effective policy aimed at reducing unfair and avoidable differences in health. |
