Biography Iain is a Principal Lecturer in Strategy and Politics, and is Subject Lead for Strategy and International Business.

Iain has significant university-level teaching and research experience, including several successful research tenders. He also has experience of knowledge exchange activities alongside policymakers and representatives of the public, private and voluntary sectors.

Iain's research interests include comparative institutional studies, devolution studies, deliberative/participatory democracy and the political participation of marginalised groups.

He has teaching experience at both UG and PG levels, covering modules such as strategic analysis, international trade/politics, British politics, political theory and comparative politics. Iain has a wide-ranging experience of student supervision, student admin, curriculum review, student assessment and pastoral care.
