Abstract

This solo exhibition, curated by Laura Leuzzi, featured two video works by artist Valentina Bonizzi. The works show the results and failures of the artist's persistent attempts to preserve a story - whether that of a small bird, or of a family album's photographs. Valentina Bonizzi digs into archives and communities to highlight issues of social justice in her work. This exhibition was made with support of the Creative Scotland Artist Award.
