This design is being developed for a restoration project, which aims to bring together housing and communal space within a single campus. Victoria Road School is based in Torry (Aberdeen, UK), which is an area that is characterised by social exclusion and health inequality. The project was conceived to meet local needs and the design has taken a salutogenic approach, supported by a dedicated health and social programme. Work on the design has been funded by a combination of the Torry Development Trust (TDT) and the Grampian Housing Association (GHA).
