Abstract
The purpose of the RGU (2022a) Digital Learning Standard (DLS) is to "provide a roadmap to ensure all students learn in a consistent, cohesive and inclusive digital learning environment, reflecting RGU's aims to provide a vibrant, equitable, and future-focused learning experience". Written in alignment with RGU's (2022b and c) Blended Learning and Assessment and Feedback Standards, the DLS outlines a minimum standard for digital learning that every study area on CampusMoodle must meet, irrespective of mode of delivery. Impacts the DLS has on the student experience includes: fostering learning communities; focusing on accessibility; and ensuring student support both in-person and online. While many staff will be familiar with the contents of the Digital Learning Standard as similar to its predecessor the RGU (2018) Online Learning Baseline, some aspects are changed or brand new. This session will showcase the new DLS including the review process and new changes, outlining the standard's intended impact and highlighting upcoming training opportunities.
