Abstract

This seminar was the fourth meeting or cross-cultural conversation (CCC) organised by the Interdisciplinary Forum for the Study of Jurisprudence and Value Inquiry in the Non-Western World (JVI), convened by Olufemi Ilesanmi. This particular event, moderated by Lisa Collie, included presentations from Mofihli Teleki (Stellenbosch University), Serges Djoyou Kamga (University of the Free State) and Francois du Bois (University of Leicester). The topic of the seminar was the concept of "Ubuntu", which can have various meanings, and how it might be relevant to restorative justice.
