Abstract
This work is one of a series of 34 essays on the value of arts and humanities research, commissioned by the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) in 2008. This essay considers the economic and social value of creative and performing arts research in the UK, from both business school and art school perspectives. It also includes commentary from some key figures in the UK creative industries.
