Abstract

This paper presented the key results of a study, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, which investigated the impact of technology on the communication of parliamentary and devolved assembly information to the general public in the UK. The research consisted of a series of in-depth interviews with representatives of parliamentary information services, and 15 roadshow events held across the UK, using the authors' new interactive, electronically-assisted interview method.
