Abstract

In this webinar Paul Arnell and Joseph Mante (both affiliated the Robert Gordon University) discuss the Illegal Migration Act 2023 and its implications. The latest attempt to address to flow of persons arriving on the shores of England from France is the Illegal Migration Act 2003. It was enacted on 20 July 2023. Paul and Joseph discuss the Act and how it disregards, and most likely violates, the UK’s international legal obligations
