Emotional intelligence workshop.

Abstract

Emotional intelligence refers to the ability to recognise and manage your emotions, and to recognise emotions in others with a view to building relationships. In this presentation, the authors provide an overview of how they have developed various emotional intelligence programmes for midwives and midwifery students over the past decade, based on a mixture of existing knowledge in the field, and the authors' own professional experiences and research.
