Biography Mohammed Seddiki holds a PhD in Architecture. He started his PhD at the University of Science and Technology of Oran (Algeria). He was awarded an Algerian ministry of higher education and scientific research scholarship to integrate a Doctoral Training Programme at the Robert Gordon University (Scotland) to complete his PhD.

Mohammed is an experienced academic in different areas of Building Engineering, such as sustainability in the built environment, energy efficiency in buildings, building services, building physics, energy modelling, and digitalisation. His research focuses on tackling CO2 reduction by understanding how to improve the efficiency of the existing building stock. He is engaged in teaching, scientific publications, and grant applications.

Teaching and Learning Mohammed Seddiki is experienced in teaching undergraduate and master's programs in architecture with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. As an Architect, a Certified Passivhaus Designer, and an AECB CarbonLite graduate, Mohammed is highly capable of teaching design studio, building services, building physics, energy modelling (Revit, PHPP, DesignPH, Full SAP, IES, WUFI), and construction detailing. Mohammed is an active researcher who focuses on improving the energy performance of buildings and is always eager to combine his teaching and research activities.
