Biography Jack Keenan is a Principal Lecturer and Digital Development Lead within the Aberdeen Business School with a long running interest in digital technologies and practices.

His teaching activities are in areas including web design, video production, data visualisation and digital marketing. He has led the development of two subject areas in the University - Digital Marketing and Business Analytics, designing and leading a range of degree programs and short courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

His research interests and activities are focused on the impacts and application of digital technologies, projects include acting as Co-Investigator on the Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) project - Participatory Design and Open Data Platforms for a Data Commons in Scotland and as the Lead Academic on a KTP Extracting Intelligence from Existing Databases with Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce.

Prior to working as a Lecturer, Jack worked in Digital Media running an early live video streaming service for an arts organisation and Scottish Screen.

Jack currently teaches across digital marketing and media courses.
