Dr Yijun Yan
| Biography | Yijun is an expert in spectroscopy, image processing and artificial intelligence (AI). His research focuses on the application of optical-based, non-destructive inspection and monitoring in various industrial sectors. Yijun is a key member of the Transparent Ocean team and supports the team's growth by attracting funding, establishing the Hyperspectral Imaging Lab and recruiting. He also contributes to increasing the NSC’s influence by actively attending international events, making impactful publications on international journals and conferences and hosting special issues on prestigious journals.
