Description STAR Awards are RGU: Union's student-led staff awards scheme, which seeks to celebrate Support and Teaching staff with Appreciation and Recognition.

The awards are a chance for students to thank staff members who go above and beyond to support them, and for staff to receive recognition from their students. The awards are open to all teaching or support staff members across the university, from lecturers, tutors, technicians, cleaners, library staff, and many more.

Ciara was nominated under the category of personal tutor.

The Dr H H Stewart Medical Scholarships in Psychiatric Nursing - Third Prize
2017

Description The NUI Dr H H Stewart Medical Scholarships are offered in a range of subject areas and disciplines across Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery, and Health Sciences and are among the oldest awards to be offered in NUI Universities in Ireland. The students achieving the highest marks in these disciplines can be nominated by their Faculty/School/Department for a Scholarship. Ciara was awarded Third Prize in 2017 for her Undergraduate Literature Review.
