Biography Dr. Ityona Amber is a lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at the School of Engineering, Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, where he teaches Thermofields subjects and renewable energy systems. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). His primary area of research is in Solar thermal Energy technology where he has worked on design and test solar adsorption cooling cycle and system and the design of a 5kWe solar thermal energy system. He is currently working on thermal management in Hydrogen production high temperature fuel cells. and Ejector cooling He has authored/co-authored several peer reviewed journal articles, and conference proceedings, published by Elsevier, and Taylor & Francis. He is also a reviewer for Solar energy, SolarPaces and applied journals. His research interests are in Renewable energy (solar, Geothermal cooling and heating) and Computational Fluid Dynamics. Prior to joining the RGU, Heriot Watt University, UAE, CFD engineer in Canada and Lecturer at Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria.
