Dr Ruby Roberts
|Biography||Ruby completed her PhD in Psychology at the University of Aberdeen in 2015. Since then she has worked as a Research Fellow at the Aberdeen Medical School, University of Aberdeen, and the Aberdeen Business School, Robert Gordon University. In that time, she has also worked as a human factors consultant in a range of safety projects, including non-technical skills training in the oil and gas sector.|
|Research Interests||Understanding how people think, behave and make decisions in the work place is fascinating, particularly in complex, high risk-high reliability contexts. Research into these areas can have a real impact, working towards safety, performance, and effective organisational culture.
Ruby's research interests span human factors and cognition including decision making and situation awareness as well as broader topics relating to organisational culture, safety, and innovation.
