Biography Birago is a Lecturer in the Department of People, Organisations and Practice at the Aberdeen Business School, Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, UK and currently in the latter stages of her PhD in Sustainable Supply Chain Management.
She holds an MSC in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management from Robert Gordon University and a BSc in Biochemistry from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana.

Birago is a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) and has over 12 years of industry experience working in various Supply Chain Management roles in diverse companies both in Ghana and the UK.
Research Interests Birago is interested in research that covers Sustainability in MSMEs, Supply Chain Management and research related to Developing Economies
Teaching and Learning Birago is a module coordinator and currently teaches within the Procurement and Supply Chain Mangement Team.

Some of the modules she teaches include
BSM022 - Purchasing Principles and Law
BSM311 - FT/PT/ODL: Operations Management
BSM523 - FT/PT/ODL: Supply Chain Management.

She is also actively involved in supervising and tutoring Capstone research for both undergraduate and postgraduate final year students.
