Biography | Dr Ruissein Mahon is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Lecturer in Energy Engineering at the School of Computing, Engineering and Technology, RGU. Since 2016, her teaching and research portfolio covers the Energy Transition focusing on integrating Low Carbon Operations and Renewables into Oil & Gas, Drilling & Well and Subsea Engineering – significant research areas that will shape, advance and impact the thrust towards a low carbon, energy secure future. Her teaching grounds this perspective in an integrated Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Sustainability paradigm. As a cross-trained Process and Energy Engineer, Dr Mahon is committed to developing and delivering relevant and responsive projects within the Energy Engineering teaching and research landscape. As a woman in STEM and a STEM Ambassador, Dr Mahon is extremely passionate about transferring knowledge to the next generation as a role model. |
