Biography Heather is a twice graduate of Robert Gordon University and returned as a member of staff in 2022 both within Academic Administration and Aberdeen Business School.

Heather has a varied career across public sector, private sector and third sector organisations, initially within generalist Human Resource Management, and has since focused her career within specialist Learning and Development discipline. She has worked internationally both on/offshore.

She has specific interests in learner-focused technology and accessibility toolkit, and currently supports Aberdeen Business School academic teams in the creation and management of blended learning materials and technologies.
Teaching and Learning Heather has extensive teaching and learning experience, across a broad range of topics. This includes non-technical personal development (presentation skills, report writing, letter writing, confidence building); people management (recruitment & selection; discipline & grievance, performance management, inclusion & diversity); and competence assurance (workplace-based assessment & verification using a variety of methods).

Heather has also worked across industry sectors as a Learning Consultant, supporting organisations with implementation and adoption of Microsoft 365 suite of applications, to enhance workplace productivity. Heather now supports Aberdeen Business School staff and students in use of software technology to facilitate learning and assessment.
