| Biography | Dr. Tope Fagbemi is a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting & Finance at the Aberdeen Business School, Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, UK. He holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. His undergraduate and M.Sc. degrees were in Accounting from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He is a Fellow and a Team-Lead with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). Prior to joining academia, Tope had external audit experience cutting across private and public-sector institutions. He has over 15 years of impressive career in HEI at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, during which he developed expertise in financial accounting, management accounting, education management, research development and curriculum design. Tope has facilitated consultancy training for private and government-owned institutions in Nigeria. He brings exceptional skillsets, including strategic planning and thinking, team leadership, and good communication to drive productivity and positive outcomes. |
