Biography Dr Dube was born and raised in Dar es-salaam. She joined RGU in February 2023. She is currently a Clinical Practice Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences. She is a Module Coordinator for Evidence Based Therapeutics and also the Stage 1 MPharm year lead.
She is a registered Pharmacist in the UK and Canada, with over 15 years of distinguished pharmacy experience. She has worked in community, hospital as well as academia. She has grown her pharmacy career through managing all aspects of a pharmacy business. She owned her own franchise pharmacy business for 3 years and was responsible for over forty employees. She is a strong leader who can solve complex operational and performance issues. She is a motivator of teams to deliver on all key performance indicators. She has developed skills in clinical and therapeutic knowledge, customer and human resource relations and intra- and inter- professional collaborations. She has also cultivated traits best suited for the advancement of her pharmacy career. She is Certified Diabetic Educator (CDE) and Certified to administer injections. She has special interests in the management of chronic conditions such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity, Chronic Pain and Substance use disorders.
