Biography | M. S. Mekala (Senior Member, IEEE) is currently a Lecturer in the School of Computing at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, UK. His expertise lies in designing and developing novel object detection and tracking models using LiDAR data and deep learning neural networks. At the RLRC Research Centre, he pioneered LiDAR and image-processing-based soft computing techniques for the Autonomous Vehicle Parts and Material Innovation project, advancing unconventional computer vision applications. He has further specialized in Deep Reinforcement Learning networks to automate advanced driver-assistance systems, strengthening robotics and intelligent vehicular networks. |
