Biography Raymond Davies is a lecturer in operations courses within the Department of People, Organisations and Practice. Raymond has a research interest in the themes of legacy and sustainability advancement within project management and mega events. He has extensive experience of business consultancy and working with professional industry bodies.

Raymond is currently finalising his PhD thesis on the theme of developing future legacies within a range of Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire based construction and infrastructure projects.

Raymond is also a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Research Interests Raymond’s academic research interests include:
Legacy advancement in events (e.g. Olympics, FIFA World Cups), sustainability in mega projects (e.g. Crossrail, High Speed Rail), Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and International engagement responses.
Teaching and Learning Raymond teaches on courses such as the MSc Project Management, MSc Business Management, MSc Procurement & Supply Chain Management, MSc Quality Management, and the MSc Health, Safety and Risk Management. He is module co-ordinator for the modules: Quality Management and Excellence Models, Performance Planning and Decision Making, Project Commercial Integrity, Principles of Asset Management, and Strategic and Commercial Management.
