Biography Donna Wynne is Associate Dean for Academic Development and Student Experience in the School of Health Sciences, Robert Gordon University (RGU). A physiotherapist and experienced academic, Donna has responsibility for all undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the subject areas of the School. Donna has oversight of all aspects of course development, quality and the student experience and has led the development of innovative models of education for Allied Health Professions and Healthcare support workers across the continuum of education, with the aim of providing quality education and innovative and flexible learning experiences. Prior to this current role, Donna had a clinical career specialising in neurological rehabilitation both in the NHS and private practice.

Donnas research interests are in neurological rehabilitation, student led clinic models and innovative models of education for allied health professions.

Having held a number of roles in the School of Health Sciences, Donna has also led teaching and learning projects across the institution. Donna is a member of several university committees and acts as panel member/convenor for validations and Institution Led Subject Reviews for the University.

Donna holds a variety of roles externally including as a professional educational advisor for the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Chair of the Scottish Board of Physiotherapy and also acts as external course advisor to physiotherapy and other allied health profession courses nationally. She also reviews submissions for the Joanna Briggs Collaborating Centre as well as a number of national and international journals and conference committees.

Donna has taught internationally in countries including the US and Eastern Europe. Her PhD studies are in the field of Physiotherapy Student Led Clinics.
