Ms Marie Simpson

Biography	Marie is a part time Lecturer within the Communication Design Department at Gray’s School of Art. She is a freelance illustrator, 2D animator and designer, who specialises in character design, children's book illustrations and digital advertising. Marie worked as a designer, illustrator and animator in advertising and publishing in central London for over 10 years after graduating art school. Following this she returned home to Aberdeen and continued freelancing as a illustrator and also started teaching. Clients she has worked for include: BBC, RBS, M&C Saatchi, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, The Natural History Museum, Macmillan publishing, Pickled Ink, Hinkler publishing, Tesco, Aardman Animations, and Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.
