Biography Martyn is Course Leader for the BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance degree. Martyn qualified as a CA working in international tax for EY before joining RGU as a lecturer. Martyn's research interest is taxation, specifically taxation of multinational companies and tax transparency. Martyn is currently undertaking his PhD on the manifestation of Action of the OECD's BEPS initiative in the UK.
Research Interests Martyn is currently undertaking PhD on the following topic:

BEPS: An investigation into the political motivations for change and the perceived effect on the tax profession. Supervised by Prof Elizabeth Gammies and Dr Shonagh Douglas

Martyn's research interests include Tax Transparency and Taxation of Multi-nationals.
Teaching and Learning Martyn currently teaches on the following modules:

BS4111 Financial Accounting for Groups of Companies (ESG)

Martyn also supervises MSc and Undergraduate thesis projects.
