Project Title | Intrinsic lumbar spine shape: its role in lifting and low back pain |
Project Description | Investigated relationships between spinal shape, posture, lifting technique and low back pain. This project involved the use of positional MRI, Vicon motion capture, MATLAB and statistical shape modelling, and a 2 month placement with the Sport Biomechanics group at the University of Western Australia (inc. 3D motion, EMG, ultrasound, and VO2 data capture).
