Biography Dr. Temitope Omotola Odusanya, Esq., known as "Temi," is an award-winning academic and the leader of the Master of Laws (LLM) Programme. A post-doctoral legal expert and champion of "Global Gender Parity," Temi is a multi-talented, change-driven leader in legal education. Her illustrious career spans roles as a distinguished scholar, chartered legal executive, chartered governance professional, and innovative educator. In higher education, she is committed to advancing quality teaching, impactful research, and public policy advocacy, underpinned by an unwavering pursuit of excellence.

A lifelong learner and Lecturer (Assistant Professor in Law), Temi is renowned for her dynamic, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to education in Nigeria, South Africa, India, and the UK. Trained in both Nigeria and the UK, she excels at simplifying complex legal concepts for diverse audiences. Her expertise extends to leadership roles in public service, as well as consulting with law firms, government agencies, and academic institutions, where she advocates for governance on national and international platforms. A global keynote speaker and the founder of the Gender Parity Initiative, Temi is devoted to advancing gender equality across the world.

Temi’s academic credentials are unparalleled. She holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Buckingham, UK, an LLM in Corporate Governance and Law from the University of Portsmouth, UK, and a PhD in Law and Diplomacy from Babcock University, Nigeria. After completing law school in Nigeria, she was called to the Bar, further solidifying her legal expertise. As an emerging researcher, Temi has a growing publication record and advocates for solutions that bridge the gap between academic inquiry and practical implementation.

Temi is passionate about global travel, particularly exploring new destinations and experiencing diverse cuisines. She has recently undertaken professional assignments across several countries, especially in Europe. As a committed educator, Temi is focused on empowering others, sharing knowledge, and enabling her students to realise their full potential.
Research Interests Most importantly, Temi is passionately driven by a commitment to global gender parity.

However, her other research interests lie in gender diversity, corporate governance and boardroom gender balance, sustainability, company law, directors' duties, property law, corporate social responsibility (CSR), pedagogic research, and sustainable development goals (SDGs). She is very happy to receive doctoral proposals from prospective students in these and related areas. And would welcome contact from anyone interested in these areas.
Teaching and Learning Temi is a flexible and energetic lecturer! Currently, she writes, designs, leads, and co-leads the following modules:

Property Law;
Property Rights in Land;
Conveyancing;
Corporate Governance;
LLM Master of Laws Course Leader and Personal Tutor.

She also supervises undergraduate and postgraduate students and conducts weekly and bi-weekly tutorials.

Additionally, she is currently attending internal and external teaching pieces of training, webinars, and seminars on topics such as equality, inclusion and diverse teaching approaches to brush up, stay abreast, and better provide quality services, especially in the epoch of AI.
