Biography Dr. Temitope Omotola Odusanya, Esq., affectionately known as "Temi," is an award-winning academic and leader of the Master of Laws (LLM) Programme. With a rich background in education and law, Temi is a post-doctoral, change-driven, multi-talented legal expert focused on achieving "Global Gender Parity". Her illustrious career spans roles as a distinguished scholar, chartered legal executive, chartered governance professional, and innovative educator. In higher education, she champions quality teaching, impactful research, and public policy advocacy, driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence.

As a lifelong learner and dedicated Lecturer in Law, Temi is celebrated for her detailed, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to education. Trained in both Nigeria and the UK, she excels in simplifying complex legal concepts for diverse audiences. Her expertise extends to consulting with law firms, government agencies, and academic institutions, promoting governance across national and international platforms.

Temi’s impressive academic credentials include an LLM in Corporate Governance and Law from Portsmouth University, UK, where she mastered subjects like Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Governance, Theory Law and Practice, and Financial Reporting, Analysis, and Decision Making.

She is a passionate educator who is committed to lifelong learning, sharing knowledge, and empowering others to achieve their full potential.
Research Interests Most importantly, Temi is passionately driven by a commitment to global gender parity.

However, her other research interests lie in gender diversity, corporate governance and boardroom gender balance, sustainability, company law, directors' duties, property law, corporate social responsibility (CSR), pedagogic research, and sustainable development goals (SDGs). She is very happy to receive doctoral proposals from prospective students in these areas.
Teaching and Learning Temi is a flexible and energetic lecturer! Currently, she writes, designs, leads, and co-leads the following modules:

Property Law;
Property Rights in Land;
Conveyancing and;
Corporate Governance.

She also supervises undergraduate and postgraduate students and conducts weekly and bi-weekly tutorials.

Additionally, she is currently attending internal and external teaching trainings, webinars, and seminars on topics such as equality, inclusion and diverse teaching approaches to brush up, stay abreast, and better serve students, especially in the epoch of AI.
