Biography Hellen Nabayiga is a Lecturer in Procurement, Supply Chain and Operations Management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. She has an MSc in Procurement and Supply Chain from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK where she is also currently completing her PhD in Management Science.

Hellen’s research interest and expertise is in value chain sustainability assessment in various sectors, including healthcare, agricultural and food systems sector. Hellen employs mixed methods including case studies, discrete event simulation, agent-based modelling, and hybrid simulation tools to evaluate supply chains while experimenting with different interventions to improve performance and service delivery.

Her current research work focuses on the UN Sustainable development goal 3, using hybrid simulation modelling to address medicine availability and problems of stockouts in Uganda.
