Biography Ann-Marie is a public historian with interests in heritage, war studies, ephemera, and accessibility. They joined RGU in 2024, after previous lecturing and research roles at Northumbria University and Queen's University Belfast.

Ann-Marie currently holds an AHRC Early Career Fellowship in Cultural and Heritage Institutions, as PI on the 'Accessible Pasts, Equitable Futures' project, which leads access work at Imperial War Museum's collections for disabled and chronically ill researchers. They are based part-time at Imperial War Museums working on this until 2026.

Ann-Marie is also Co-I on the EDI Caucus funded project 'Divergent Minds in the Archive', working with PI Dr Ria Cheyne and Dr Lucinda Matthews-Jones (both Liverpool John Moores University) with project partners Glamorgan Archives, Gwent Archives, History UK, Imperial War Museum, Liverpool Record Office, Scottish Council on Archives, and Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums. This project examines how neurodivergent researchers and professionals experience archives, working to effectively reimagine neurodivergent access.
