|Biography||Dr Asim joined the School of Engineering at RGU in 2019 as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering.
From 2013 to 2019, Dr Asim worked as a Research Assistant, Research Fellow and Senior Research Fellow at the University of Huddersfield, after completing his PhD from the same institute (2010-2013)
Having graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from the National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan in 2007, he completed an MSc in Automotive Engineering from the University of Huddersfield in 2008, and later joined the University of Lahore, Pakistan as a lecturer in Mechanical Technology (2008-2010).
Dr Asim is a Chartered Engineer, Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and Fellow of Higher Education Academy. He is also a consultant to the Thermo-fluid industry and has run a number of knowledge transfer partnerships successfully.
He is active in renewable energy research and is involved with many renewable energy organizations.
Dr Asim is a member the UK Turbulence Consortium and has published over 100 papers in various journals and conference proceedings of repute and has been invited to give lectures in various conferences.
