Biography Dr Oluyomi A. Osobajo is a Principal Lecturer at Aberdeen Business School, Robert Gordon University, overseeing the MSc Project Management and MSc Procurement and Supply Chain Management courses. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), a Full Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM), a PRINCE2 Practitioner, a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), and a Level 3 Award holder in Leadership and Management ilm3). Dr Osobajo has extensive experience in accreditation and reaccreditation processes, including oversight of the MSc Project Management accreditations by the Project Management Institute's Global Accreditation Centre (GAC) and the Association for Project Management (APM).

He currently holds voluntary roles with the APM Aberdeen Corporate Member Working Group, the Global Accreditation Centre for Project Management Education Programs, and as an Honorary Research Fellow with NHS Grampian. He is also a reviewer for known journals. He has secured competitive funding, including grants from the Association for Project Management and RGU's internal pump-priming fund. Prior to his academic career, Dr Osobajo gained a BSc in Accounting from the University of Ilorin, an MSc in Project Management, and a PhD in Management from Robert Gordon University. His multi-disciplinary research work spans project management, supply chain management and operations management. He has published in 3-star Chartered ABS journals. He is passionate about advancing project management research and practice, while supporting the development of the next generation of project professionals through teaching, supervision, and industry engagement.
Research Interests Dr Osobajo's research interests span project management, operations, and supply chain management, with a particular focus on knowledge management, competencies and organisational learning within projects. He is interested in sustainability and the circular economy in relation to business models, as well as the role of digitalisation and artificial intelligence in shaping the future of project delivery and performance. His work also explores project governance, accreditation, and education, with a focus on how professional standards, stakeholder engagement, and institutional frameworks impact project success. He is committed to applied and interdisciplinary research that bridges academic inquiry with industry practice, particularly in the fields of construction, healthcare, and technology-driven environments.

Dr Osobajo is interested in PhD research projects in the areas of project management, operations, and supply chain management, in general, and more specifically in the emerging practices and enablers of project management.
